<p> There are many religions in this world that we are born into. Have you ever thought about why there are so many religions and some worship many gods while others have monotheism. Some people have decided that they do not believe in God altogether. They are atheist. These readings of for those who are interested in religion and the moral value that most of the stories hold. In each story we learn about I hope that we can see some of the basic messages that are delivered and keep in mind this book was designed for a child to understand. </p>
<p>I wanted to take the time to share this book with people who are interested. This book was the book that taught me how to read. I read this book every day at the same time with my mother and siblings as a kid. I would also go on to continue reading because the stories were very interesting and always taught a valuable lesson.</p>
<p>As a child you learn the religion of the adults around you. As an adult you follow the religion that you believe in. It is kind of cliché because you can actually have your faith in the religion you were taught as a child and that is just fine. These readings are not to convince you to change your religion but to remember it. I study a few monotheist religions and when you listen to the stories in some places it differs. Is this what the different religions quarrel over? This is not the goal here. Let us just focus on the moral righteousness and also discuss the differences in a respectful manner.<br>
These stories are considered true stories and are taken from the Bible. There is 116 stories in <i> My Book of Bible Stories</i></p>
<h1><center>Creation to the Flood</center></h1>
<p>In a monotheist religion the first thing a believer does is put everything under the control of one creator; God. Therefore, we believe that God created all things, the sun, moon, stars etc… In <i>My Book of Bible Stories</i> it teaches that Adam and Eve disobeyed God and lost the right to keep living. </p>
<h2><center>A Good Son, And A Bad One</center></h2>
<p> Adam and Eve had many children. In the Book of Bible Stories it talks about two of them. Their name was Cain and Abel. The two brothers have a lot in common that was not touched on in this short story. They were also different. Able loved Jehovah and Cain. Cain did not love his brother, Abel.<br> One day the two go and bring a gift to God. God accepted Abel’s gift but he did not accept Cain’s gift. This made Cain so angry with his brother that he killed him. Cain was then sent far away from his family but he took one of his sisters with him as a wife. Adam and Eve had many children and they began to marry each other and produce more children to populate the Earth.</p>
