Meet the new Steemit Chrome + Firefox browser extension!

<p>Do you sometimes wish that all the advanced functions on Steemdb.com, Steemd.com, SteemStats.com and SteemNow.com were an integral part of Steemit?</p>
<p>Well, @armandocat has developed the closest thing to that - a Steemit Chrome and FireFox extension called <em>Steemit More Info</em> which enhances the user experience of Steemit.</p>

  <li>In the account of any Steemian, you will see how much money(Steem Dollar) that their 100% upvote will give</li>
  <li>When browsing the account of others, you will see the total number of upvotes they have done for the day</li>
  <li>It allows you to see how much every person who upvoted your post contribited inn terms of Steem Dollars</li>
  <li>It allows you to see the total amount in Steem Dollars that the upvote of people gave to any upvoted comment</li>
  <li>There are many other features!</li>

<h1>Installation</h1>
<p>Unfortunately, its not yet uploaded to Firefox plugin store or the Google Chrome store yet so users will have to manually install it.</p>
<ul>
  <li>First download it here</li>
  <li>Extra the file from the Zip archive</li>
  <li>Open <code>chrome://extensions</code> in Chrome and drag and drop the root folder there</li>
  <li>Open &nbsp;<code>about:debugging</code> in FireFox, click "<em>Load Temporary Add-on</em>" and add it there</li>
</ul>
<p>It is expected that the extension will soon be added to Chrome Store and FireFox plugin store to automate the installation process.</p>

<h1>Security</h1>
<p>Since it is not upload to Google's Chrome Store or Firefox plugin store, there is not way to know by reviews if the plugin does anything suspicious.</p>
<p>According to the developer, the sources code was made available on GitHub so everyone could review it for themselves.</p>
<p>Also, the author promises that it cannot look up the private keys of any Steemit account.</p>
<p>The only word we can rely on is that of one <a href="https://steemit.com/steem-dev/@armandocat/steemit-more-info-0-9-1-chrome-extension-firefox-extension#@reggaemuffin/re-armandocat-steemit-more-info-0-9-1-chrome-extension-firefox-extension-20170912t173732397z">Steemian commentator who reviewed the code</a> and said there was nothing suspicious about the current version.</p>
<p>Users are advised to use the plugin with due diligence.</p>
