Today is Wednesday and I could not think of anything but the hump day itself. Hump Day - Wednesday and that means #WednesdayWalk hosted by @tattoodjay So early in the morning one Wednesday few weeks earlier, I was going to get my daughter @naniplayergamer 's report card for the last quarter of the school year. Her school is about 20-minute drive from our house. I hired a trike (a 3-wheeled public transportation here in the Philippines) since I don't have a vehicle. On my way there, I saw several flamboyant trees at the rear of a little talipapa (small wet market) and I was stunned seeing every one of the blossoms wave together. I told the trike driver to stop me there after getting my daughter's report card. At school however, there were likewise some flamboyant trees that began to sprout, by not quite so numerous as the one I saw on our way. These are more modest and the trees are really higher. I don't know whether these are of a similar variety since they have various shapes. In most tropical countries, these flamboyant trees are planted as ornamental plant. It is likewise one of a few trees known grown and call them as Flame trees or Fire trees. Here in the Philippines, they are in full bloom from April to May, the level of summer. They are almost fading now. So anyhow... After getting my daughter's report card, I stopped at the place where I saw the huge flamboyant tree where one vegetable vendor was selling behind it. I first bought vegetables not to be disrespectful, and then asked if I could take a couple of photos of the tree. She was very kind and did not disappoint me. Yeah, I was happy on my way back home. Just a few of those little things that make me happy. Of course, my daughter's grade did not disappoint me either. All A's and of line of 9s. It was a good day.
