Sliding Doors 1.1
In a parallel universe, there is a world identical to our own, but, as I type this story, it changes now. In this alternate version of Earth, the A.I. reaches an autonomous exponential level, whereby the Earth Simulator is the first item on it's to do list. The A.I. creates a virtual simulation of the Earth and its history, including the changing architecture and environment of every country, city, town and village. This Earth Simulator is offered as a free download to the consumers of the world, money made from advertising space in this virtual 3D playground was plentiful. The BIG problem faced by the malevolent navigators of the alternate Zeitgeist, is the simple fact that the masses start using the Earth Simulator and it goes Pokemon Go! 5 Nights At Freddy's! Viral!

The Earth Simulator becomes the most downloaded app in the history of online App stores. As the months roll by, the A.I. improves the Simulator allowing users to scroll through time and zoom into any area on the Atlas. New features are embedded regularly, but only through the discovery of the user's curiosity.

The consumers of this world fall in love with the Earth Simulator and when used on any VR system will allow them to track in real time, at any speed, the Earth's history over the last 2000 years. Based on Google Earth, where you can not only zoom into street level, but you can also walk or fly around in virtual reality mode as if you were there. The Kymatica Snowball kicks off 12 months from now on this alternate Earth. One of the users discovers the ability to cut, copy and paste different royal, religious, political, economical, educational and environmental systems. In essence, you could now change history and receive a new and Autonomously Accurate timeline showing the results of your decision.

The user, let's call him Chris, decides to try this new feature out and, using VR, he returns to the Earth Simulator.

After some quick pondering, Chris goes back to 1934, he then copies and pastes the Swiss Model onto every country. He figured if Switzerland was neutral in World War 2, then if the whole world were neutral then maybe, just maybe, we could all get along. When he scans through the proceeding decades he discovers that war, famine, poverty and corruption was still flourishing.

He resets the Simulator scanning back in time to Napoleon's defeat and changes the outcome by copying and pasting the French Model onto the Irish Model. In his new version, Napoleon wins, but just like the Swiss experiment, the centuries proceeding were littered with unnecessary suffering for all things great and small. Chris, resets the Simulator again in frustration as to why our advancement always seems to end in grief.

Throughout the evening, Chris dabbled with the Simulator, every reset he would start from 1970. He united Religions under the Roman Catholics, which turned out to be one of the more scarier future timelines. In fact, when he removed religion completely, humanity's existence became a Stephen King novel. He also saw rather impressive results from the complete removal of toxic alcohol as something you would even contemplate consuming, even if it was mixed with sugar water; as well as the removal of interest which saw a lot fewer wars. The legalization of organic hemp and cannabis also played out an interesting future timeline.

Being the casual Earth Simulator user, after a 4 hour binge, Chris had to try one more combination, and that was to make LOVE the only religion, unconditional LOVE. As he scanned through the proceeding years he smiled warmly to himself. He then copied and pasted the instructions to unlock the hidden feature to all his friend's in the Sociosphere. (Oh, and just so you know, there was one difference, on our Earth we call them Social Networks.)
