<center>Now that January has passed and my work is over, I can confess that I was a guest curator for Esteem for a month. This was not a secret because anyone interested could see the list of curators in Discord but I felt that I should, as a curator, be as discreet as possible. Now it's over.</center>

<center>I would like to share some impressions about this activity.</center>

<center>I must say that I was honestly surprised that I was chosen as guest curator. Thanks to those who trusted me! I didn't know what the duties would be and what I should do. I did not connect with the eSteem encouragement and support program for those who use eSteem Mobile and eSteem Surfer.</center>

<center>I am a user of eSteem Surfer for a long time and then also eSteem Mobile. I think there are two very useful applications, live and in continuous improvement. It offers many advantages to users, starting with the most important, especially for beginners, consistent votes for those who follow the rules.</center>

<center>When you start a new activity, whether you want it or not, you always learn! For me, this was the main advantage of being a curator. You learn from the rules you should know but sometimes you forget about them and you learn from the posts that you are required to read in order to be able to do the curation.</center>

<center>*Of course you are not obliged to learn, but then everything was useless!*</center>

<center>**Some impressions about the curatorial activity and what conclusions ...**</center>

<center>First of all I must say that it is not very easy and at the same time it is a time consuming activity. First of all you have to check if the post you evaluate complies with the rules of non-plagiarism, source attribution and originality...</center>

<center>Then, very important, establish the value of the post and the effort the author made when writing it.</center>

<center>Unfortunately, there are many authors who think they did not understand or do not know the minimum requirements to be eligible to receive the attention from @esteemapp.</center>

<center>I saw lots of "blogs" consisting of just a photo and a word or two ... Some really good photos but what use?</center>

<center>I commented on the respective posts (in some, not all) and I recommend writing something about the photo, from the circumstances in which they did it and to what memories they evoke. **Very easy to make a blog from a photo!** But it requires little work and involvement that many do not know or do not want to do.</center>

<center>*Unfortunately! Most did not respond to my recommendations.* They continued the same and I really don't understand what kind of expectations they have ...</center>

<center>At the same time, I discovered many extremely talented bloggers. It was the real pleasure of this curator activity. Unfortunately, most do not receive rewards as their value.</center>

<center>**I think that's the big problem with this social platform called Steemit. New members are not supported in their first attempts and posts. This is why many valuable people leave before they begin to see a positive response.**</center>

<center>These are my impressions now, after I stopped this activity. I would like to thank @good-karma and @esteemapp for what they do and I want to say that I am very happy that I can use the applications developed by them. Also, thank you for the countless votes I received from them. I think there are thousands of users who should do this!</center>
