A lot of people travel to Egypt to see them. There are quite a few pyramids in Egypt but did you know that Egypt isn't the only place with pyramids?</p> <p>https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/HnralTi.png</p> <p>A lot of people think that are only pyramids in Egypt when there's actually pyramids in numerous places around the world such as <strong>India, Peru, Indonesia, Spain, Greece, China, Rome, North America, Mesopotamia, Nigeria, Samoa, Mesoamerica and Sudan</strong>. </p> <p>Although there are so many places with pyramids, in this point we are going to focus on the pyramids in Sudan. </p> <p>The pyramids in Sudan can be found in the northeast Sudanese capital called <strong>Khartoum</strong>, in a valley known as <strong>Nubia</strong>. Sudan has the largest collection of pyramids in the world! Although they are smaller in size than the ones in Egypt, they are still pyramids nonetheless. They are<strong> 6-30 metres in height and 8 metres in width</strong>.</p> <h3>How many pyramids are in Sudan?</h3> <p>Sudan has more than 200 pyramids!</p> <p><strong>Below is a picture of how one pyramid looked like from the inside:</strong></p> <p>https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/Hnql6dO.jpg</p> <h3>How old are the pyramids? </h3> <p>They are about 4,600 years old and are said to be built 800 years after the Egyptians stopped building their pyramids! Seems like they got inspired by the Egyptian pyramids since they tried to imitate them . </p> <h3>What is inside the pyramids?</h3> <p> The pyramids were tombs for the kings and queens.
