<html> <p>What is the best example of when Bitcoin will be mainstream? </p> <p><img src="https://cdn.safestbettingsites.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Bitcoin-wallet-smartphone.png" width="246" height="300"/></p> <p>There is a whole segment of the crypto-currency market designated as payment solutions. TenX, Centra, Monaco, and others, as well as established cards like BitPay. Many people have talked about these cards and the hype has definitely been there. While many suggest that when places like Amazon accept BTC or LTC will be the major milestone, I have another idea.</p> <p>Many people live in houses, and homeowners often employ carpenters, plumbers, and electricians to work on their house. I had a recent estimate done on my house for some new siding. When the contractor was finishing his measurements and we started to talk about prices, I asked him if he would accept Bitcoin. To my surprise, his immediate answer was yes. </p> <p>When I asked him if he would take Litecoin or Dash, he said that he had heard of them, but that he would feel more comfortable taking Bitcoin. We discussed the fact that payment could be done in parts and that each payment would arrive essentially immediately. That was very appealing.</p> <p>In summary, my idea is that Bitcoin will be mainstream when the tradesman accept it as payment. I also see this as a means for smaller contractors to insure payment and prevent situations of slow payment. I also see the advantage of Litecoin here as the small fees for micro type transactions will be much less compared to Bitcoin. </p> </html>
