Like a lot of people, I have a Linked-In Account where I handle my professional contacts.  I thought it was interesting that both IBM and Google were researching my profile this week.  

Either they are HR farming for possible future positions or I have hit their radar for a couple of possible reasons:

1) For IBM, I started the procurement process for  the first out of prototype stage purchasing of a new Telconferencing video system for my company.

2)  I suggested that we may want to continue in-house control and ownership of our company records and data instead of farming it out to 3rd party entities such as Google.

Is this a coincidence or just plain creepy?
