Dressed in a blue shirt,
With a red silk tie,
And a black pants,
Look completed with my Italian loafers.



A generous spray of my favourite perfume,
I stand in front of the mirror,
Checking if my tie is knotted well,
Not crooked or bent.

I brush my hair again,
The umpteenth time this morning,
Check for food stuck in my teeth,
Found none. Perfect.

Carried my recently cleaned suitcase,
I walked confidently out the door,
Today is the day,
That I get started on my dream.

Yes, I was going to become a marketer,
I have the skill set I need,
I can communicate properly,
In both the lingua franca and local languages.

However, I couldn't look shabby,
So they won't think I'm here to beg,
I am dressed neatly,
For first impression.
