Born rich, gallantly walking in, his name alone is pride, ego filled man, all made to success in life, you don't have him to blame though, all things in life tends to work for him.

Desmond was late as usual to the meeting, and the lawyer knew he wouldn't dare say sorry, he believed so much in having his head raised up high, even if the wrong is staring at him in his face, calling his attention to the life of humility. He just wouldn't take a bow to anyone.

The way the whole family was settled to hear the will of Desmond's father gave a lot of concern, but he just didn't look that side, strolled in and dashed them a general greeting, they all replied with a little bit of murmurings and mumbled jumbled words.

It's the same house he grew up in, the white leather chair bought in Italy is still looking new, Desmond grabbed a seat without been offered one.

A moment of silence paraded the room till the lawyer coughed, cleared his throat and made for the order of the day. The will. He acknowledged the presence of everyone there and made to open the will of Desmond late father.

The distribution of Desmond's father will isn't something palatable to the ear. He made it known expressly of his greatest regret, which lies in providing shelter for Desmond when he was small, his mother brought him into the house because her supposed boyfriend wouldn't take her in. Pushed to the street and miraculously found by the philanthropist Dr. Alexson, he was sheltered and made to mingle with everyone, the humble behavior of his mum made it easy for him to be adopted, and that was the beginning of nothing to something. The boy instead of taking over from her mom, took a different part and decide to flex the wealth a little.

The will went ahead to strip Desmond of all sonship entitlement, Desmond was to walk out of the house with nothing, to find his parents.
For the first time, the boy cried, with a deep sense of humility, he looked into the eyes of everyone who is there, if at least someone will have mercy. No one, besides, no one ever liked him, he has caused a lot of financial damages to his father's company.

Desmond walked out of the house into his sport car, possibly the only thing he has left on earth, and drove off into the night, never to be seen again.
