In general people tend to pan out their road to success step for step, each stage of the planning complete with an array of probable outcomes and suited follow-up actions thus mapping their way to success, indoctrinated to take it one step at a time. But what if everything that we have been thought about attaining success has been wrong?
When we look a bit deeper into the thought patterns of people whom have attained a great deal of success in their lives then we can not that they tend to go about their goal and mission planning completely backwards, they quit often, they say no regularly and they tend to cut corners.

# Planning

As a matter of fact, most successful people start by envisioning the required end result and then they start engineering their plan in reverse gear so to speak in stead of starting at the point where they find themselves then planning ahead step for step.

# Quitting and saying No

Another interesting fact about the thoughtful habits of successful people is that they do not adhere to the commonly known saying “winners never quit” in truth successful people quit, and they quite often, you see, successful people reach a point of realisation that allows them to acknowledge when a plan is not feasible to follow through, once they reach a point of seeing that something with an unlikely probability of achieving success is draining energy that could be better applied to another task with a higher possible success outcome, they quit and focus their attention on the latter. Thus successful people contrary to popular belief often say no to plans that they do not see fit to be placed in their success planning, they do not simply say yes to every single opportunity that poses itself.

# Cutting Corners

Yes folks, Successful people tend to cut corners.
In stead of sticking exactly to the step for step blueprint plan on how to get the desired results, successful people are always looking for a faster way to get to the same end result.

## So next time you plan your road to success try shaking up the mental tree and do things a bit differently.
