Hi friends, This post is an entry into a #socalsteemit contest where we show our California. Thanks to the team for hosting another fun contest. This morning, my son and I got outside and went to one of the local regional parks in the area. Even though people often associate Los Angeles as a big city, there are a number of recreation opportunities to utilize in the surrounding areas. The weather is beautiful today, and the recreation area has a small lake, a nice bike path, and gorgeous views of the mountains... check it out:   We had a nice long bike ride for my son who is still learning to ride a bike, and even stopped for a little bit to throw some rocks in the lake.
