There is a dumb Palo Verde tree that drops it’s needles into the pool and today a bunch of those got bumched up before the pump skimmer basket and I didn’t know why I didn’t have any pressure in the filter and hardly any flow. I had to take apart the Jandy Valve to get that bundle out. After I got that out I sucked up a bunch of the other stuff with the vacuum and it was all in the basket.

You are supposed to have a leaf canister hooked up in the system so that stuff doesn’t get that far but Mine broke and it was a point that seemed to always let air into the system. 

When the flow is good there are very few air bubbles at the top of the filter skimmer. It will mainly be solid water swirling in there.

There is something always going wrong with a pool system. It is best to understand it so you don’t go broke paying others to work on it.
