Again, this one was achieved by the 21 year old from the Phoenix Suns.

Yes, this is the same quasi teenager that hung 70 points in Boston Garden, the youngest ever to score more than 60 points in a game.

Anyways, on Saturday Night the NBA held its annual All Star Weekend.

The event starts off with the Rookie Game on Friday night, which is then followed by skills challenges on Saturday night, and then finally the event is punctuated by the All Star Game on Sunday night.

# For this post, I'd like to focus in on the events held on Saturday night.

Specifically, the 3 point contest.

This is always the second best event of the festivities on Saturday night, and in recent years has even been the best event in terms of excitement.

This year would be no different.

Devin Booker was one of the favorites in the contest, but was well behind a previous winner in Klay Thompson.

However, he showed that the experts had it all wrong.

Not only did he end up winning the event, but he did so in record setting fashion.

He scored the most points ever in the contest with 28.

He might have even been the youngest winner ever, but I will need to check a few more sources on that one.

# As a long time basketball fan, I look forward to watching this guy grow and mature.

I just hope his team out there can eventually put some talent around him as the suns have been perennial bottom dwellers for about 8 years now.

I have a feeling that is about to change.
