Having dreams can be very entertaining or scary depending on what was dreamt. Sometimes I dream of being in a paradise like place, enjoying myself and on some occasions, I have dreamt of being chased by masquerades. From a tender age, while attending sunday school classes in church, I learnt about dreams when the story of Joseph was narrated to us. I liked the fact that Joseph's dreams actually came true even though it took so long, and from there, my desire to dream and see them come to pass was awakened

It took a while before my desires began to manifest. I consider dreams as a way that messages are received from the supernatural realm to the physical realm. Sometimes, dreams are ways the subconscious mind reminds us of some unfinished events or occurrences that occurred during the day. Orher times , dreams are an extension of the movies we watch especially horror movies. Whenever I watch a horror movie, I usually end up dreaming about it. Whichever it is, dreams are not to be joked with in my opinion.

Years ago, I had a dream where I saw the name of a someone I knew written on a coffin. In that dream, the coffin was being laid to rest in the earth and that was when I looked ain and so the name a man bodly written on it. The man in question lived at the end of my street, opposite my younger sister's school. I usually greet him whenever I go to drop my sister off in the morning and pick her up after school hours. He was a friendly man who liked to tease kids a lot and I and my sister were not left out of his teasings.

Seeing him in my dream was somewhat shocking to me because we were not close. When I woke up from sleep after having that dream, fear gripped my heart but fir some unknown reason, I shrugged off the feeling of fear and attributed the drwam to a chance occurrence. That was how I carried on with my usual routines, forgetting about the dream.

Two weeks later, I heard that the man was involved in a terrible car accident and he had been admitted in the hospital, fighting for his life. Immediately I heard that, my mind did a quick flash back to that drwam and that same feeling of fear gripped me agai. I was sad throughout the whole day because it was looking like my dream was going to come pass and I didn’t want that at all.

I did the only thing I knew I could and that was to pray after arriving home from school. I prayed to God to save him from the hands of death. I also told my mom aboit and she joined me in praying for the man. Days later, I heard the man had woken up and was responding to treatment . I was so glad to hear that news about him. A month later, I saw the manin front of his compound, walking with the aid of clutches a d I was so relieved that he survived. Although the man is late now, he died a natural death many years after that accident and not because of a bad omen.

Dreams mean different things to different people. It is left to each person to know what to do about what they have dreamt.

Thank you all for reading to the end. This is my participation to the #decemberinleo for day7
