When I try to look at **Hyper Rail Blaster** game, I found that players earn rewards primarily through Colony tokens. So when the rewards come out, players will be able to earn **COLONY** tokens when playing the game. The amount of Col tokens earned depends on how far you go, the powerups you collected, and the staking factor (amount of Colony staked) you get.

I have also found out that these Colony tokens are tied to real currency (that can be converted through Hive). The rewards system, approved by a strong majority via Arcade Colony’s DAO, incentivizes skillful play. As players progress through waves of enemies, defeating bosses every three waves, they can earn tokens based on performance metrics like enemies destroyed and waves survived. These tokens are held in a player’s Arcade Colony blockchain account, enabling trading or selling on secondary markets like TribalDex or Hive-Engine.

What I found amusing about this game is that this is ideally a proof that Web 2 games and Web 3 games can be bridged. Hyper Rail Blaster is a common,  traditional game that is played long time ago even the design is not that great. But unlike traditional arcade games, Hyper Rail Blaster’s Web3 integration allows players to own digital assets, such as collectibles or upgrades, which can be traded for real-world value.

The game’s economy encourages short, engaging sessions while rewarding consistent play. While currently free-to-play, future in-game purchases may enhance earning potential. This asset-light model makes Hyper Rail Blaster accessible, appealing to both casual gamers and Web3 enthusiasts. By blending nostalgic arcade action with blockchain rewards, Arcade Colony redefines gaming economies, empowering players as stakeholders.

So I think it's definitely worth a try to find the sweetspots of Hyper Rail Blaster. It is definitely one of the best games that will come out on Hive. The graphic designs is at par with the best games on other blockchains.
