Just how important is one bee to the health of the hive? On the surface probably not very important. And yet without the delicate dance of each little honey bee within her bee colony the entire hive is at risk. Whenever we open our bee hives I am intrigued by the harmony that exists between the bees. They communicate in an intricate dance and keep the hive functioning at a regulated temperature and strength. It is truly beautiful to behold. The analogy doesn't end there. In the last couple weeks I have experienced the beautiful community here on Hive. Thank you hasn't seemed sufficient and how do you thank all those little working bees who may just briefly contribute to your existence in Hive? It has made me grateful that others in the community would put effort into one another. Ultimately we strengthen our cyber community into a sweet place to bee. Recently I read the post by @holisticmom  [Grateful Shameless Tagging](https://hive.blog/hive-120078/@holisticmom/its-feels-good-to-be-grateful-shamelessly-tagging-to-show-my-appreciation) and I knew that I needed to do some shameless tagging of my own.

**Is it really worth all the effort**
The long drought changed the face of our valley forever. It also compromised little foraging bees and butterflies. In the last year we have rejoiced to see them return. A little over a month ago I started over, here on Hive. Long story short; life's demands forced me to end my Steemit days, three years ago. I didn't think I'd be back. But the last year has brought radical changes in my life - many of you can say the same. Both of my homestead run businesses closed. Big shock. Bigger panic. My brother @craigcryptoking has been asking (persistently nagging) me to start writing again. I eventually capitulated ***but***  (another long story short) after discovering that my original @buckaroo profile is in solitary confinement I realized that I'd have to re-invent my blockchain self. I was daunted at the prospect. I shouldn't have been because there are so many amazing people here and so thanks for inspiring me @holisticmom! I hope you don't mind me quoting you?

**Reconnecting and finding  both old and  new friends & communities is no small task**
While I was still trying to get my original profile restored @dswigle made contact via my brother @craigcryptoking. Denise has such a sweet heart. Not only did she and my brother invest time and advice into me trying to recover @buckaroo but they then gave my baby wallet some love. Thank you so much Denise for the delegation that gave @buckaroobaby some oomph! #marketfriday don't realize what a gem you are. In my steeming days one of my favourite communities was #naturalmedicine, who have gone from strength to strength. Probably all that organic green juice and time grounding. @riverflows and @minismallholding have been amazing representatives of the #naturalmedicine community. I am so grateful for their encouragements in my hippie organic ideas as well as their efforts in helping me build up my reputation. Of course there's that added bonus of speaking the same language (almost). Then there's @crosheille who is a kindred spirit in so many ways. I couldn't begin to mention. She and @ewkaw both curated me the first week of my toddling steps on Hive for which I am so grateful.  @lenasveganliving continues to inspire and encourage all the other little worker bees like an unseen queen bee in her community. It has been daunting trying to find the familiar cyber faces - so many of whom have gone offline - and also connect with new ones. Here's to taking up the challenge @canadianrenegade as well as a new adventure with the twin I never met @alexanderfarm. Thanks to a local face @papilloncharity who has nudged me in the direction of #amazingnature and #fascinating insects. While your food makes my tummy grumble @plantstoplanks the real inspiration came with your running posts! So thank you for getting me back on the road. It has also been exciting to discover #foodiesbeehive and the talented @anggreklestari. This community offers such a culinary flair. Despite years travelling the globe I've settled down on my home sweet homestead and recently started homeschooling. So the discovery of #haveyoubeenhere as well as #homeeders really satisfies the itchy feet while I teach my ABC. Last but not least, to the team at @ocd who burns midnight oil getting the undervalued appreciated - **thank you**

In a bee hive all the hard working bees that make that delicious honey are girl bees (let's end the analogy there). The only males are the slightly bigger drones. Let's just say they form the queen bees harem. I find it accurately represents the two groups of people here on Hive. The drones are those that are just getting a job done. Even if they just write for a bot it is all about the currency. Then there are the little worker bees. They flit tirelessly all day from flower to flower. Collecting pollen to feed the hive. In the process the cross pollination assures the survival of so much more than their own little community. So **THANK YOU** to all those little worker bees that spend so much extra time cross pollinating.
