I have read that a steak isn't really environment friendly, as so much water is required for a cow to grow up and for the steaks to turn into the meat we love to eat. But, if we forget about that, steaks are amazing and so tasty to eat, and one of the best places to eat a steak in Budapest is at Pampas Steakhouse. The restaurant is located not far from the Danube, almost opposite the Grand Market Hall. This is a place where you can eat Kobe steaks, Porterhouse steaks, but also a place where those who rather eat chicken can find some good meals.

<h2>Exclusive Hungarian near the Basilica</h2>
Sas utca has turned into a street where you can find a lot of nice restaurants. Borkonyha is a Michelin starred restaurant in which the famous Hungarian chef Akos Sarkozy works. We cannot help you with a table reservation in that restaurant, but just across the street (which is very small), you will find the restaurant Aszu. This is also a place for fine dining, and here you can enjoy your gourmet like Hungarian meal accompanied by gypsy music. On warmer days, you can also sit outside, and even though there is some car-traffic passing by, it is still a really enjoyable place to eat a very nice Hungarian meal.

<h2>An attraction, a theater, a show - and giant portions</h2>
Among tourists, one of the most popular restaurants in Budapest is Sir Lancelot. Here you can order food for yourself, or you can order a large plate with food for your group, and then you can all pick the food from the plate that you prefer. This is a mixture of eating with hands and cutlery, and it is trying to give you an authentic medieval experience during your visit. For that reason, there is also sword-fights taking place every evening, you have live medieval music in the background, there is belly dancing and small acts. This is fantastic experience for adults and kids.

<h2>More steaks in La Pampa</h2>
La Pampa is the name of a restaurant that is operated by the same people who run Pampas Steakhouse. But, La Pampa is a way more classy restaurant when it comes to interior, and it also has space for even more guests. This is a perfect spot for larger groups who want to eat together as the restaurant has special rooms with space for 20 guests, and for 40 guests, and so on! They also have some temporary courses on the menu, but in general, you will find exactly the same content and price level on the meals in La Pampa as the ones you will find in Pampas Steakhouse. But again, the interior is nicer in La Pampa, while the location is a bit more tourist friendly in Pampas Steakhouse.

<h2>Hungarian Fine Dining in Rezkakas Bistro</h2>
The last restaurant out here is Rezkakas Bistro in Budapest. This place is located next to Borkonyha (the Michelin starred restaurant), and very close to Aszu. As I mentioned, this street is packed with high class restaurants, and Rezkakas is one of them. Here you can eat some fantastic Hungarian meals accompanied with nice gypsy music, and it is one of the few restaurants keeping open in Budapest on December 24th.

These are some restaurants in Budapest. I have lots of other favorite restaurants in Budapest that are all worth visiting, but these might give you a hands up on some. Please be aware that all the restaurants mentioned are quite expensive (seen from a Hungarian point of view), meaning that you will have no trouble finding cheaper restaurants in Budapest.

But, if you want to have an experience in a Budapest restaurant that you might remember for a longer period of time, all these could and should be considered.
