Target Hit : 250K Hive Power – What’s Next?
For at least the last year I have been powering up pretty much everything I earn on HIVE because I had been aiming for a **250K Hive Power Target**. Today I’ve finally hit my target, even as the HIVE price languishes around 34 cents which is a lot lower than when I set my target in the first place. It feels a bit like a hollow victory but I still should celebrate it. That’s the thing about goals, you have got to set them and then celebrate them when you hit - even if it feels underwhelming. It’s kind of a positive feedback loop for the ego….

Accumulating during a Bear Market is often a case of trying to catch a falling knife, but now I think we’re in a Consolidation Phase and this is actually the best time to be accumulating so I’m asking myself whether I should keep going and push for 300K Hive Power or set myself a different accumulation target. I’d like to keep anything I earn here IN the HIVE ecosystem but there is plenty of options these days. Splinterlands is always a bit of a favourite. I could go for DEC, SPS, Cards, Packs or even Land over there. LEO is doing some interesting things though they are just as likely to go up 400% or down to zero in the next 12 months so that feels like a higher risk right now. There is a wealth of options to choose from on the Hive Engine.

I’m up for suggestions. I have a pretty decent tolerance for risk, but am very wary of ponzi-like investment funds so would prefer to be investing in something with a solid use case and genuine earning potential into the future. What’s out there that you’re investing in that I should be looking at?
