 ***End goals*** Run 12KM Swim 1KM ***Reflection*** Good week, pushing the wall an inch further in both activities. I pushed it harder in the running this week. Music choice for running definately can make a difference when trying to push the limit. I found a couple Slipknot and Five Finger Death punch songs that matched the rhyyhm of my running and that gave me a second breath. Here is the recap: Running 3.5KM Treadmill ( run / walk x 3 ) 3.6KM Treadmill ( run / walk x1 ) Swimming 500M (50M intervals) 500M (50M intervals) ***Learnings*** Definately plan a good tempo playlist for workouts where possible. I am open to all types of music but generally don't fancy the song choices played in most gyms so I opt in for my own choices here. In regards to swimming, I am slowing down and relaxing more in the strokes. My goal is distance and endurance here, not speed. So I find that toning down my pace slighly is saving alot of energy. ***Goals for the week*** Running Reduce the walking. So aim for a solid run without stopping to walk. Swimming Similar to running, reduce the intervals. Aim for 100M intervals between rests. ***In conclusion*** *Inception post was created for a number of reasons: I wanted to create accountability for a goal I was trying to achieve. I wanted to journal my journey from inception to realization and I want to inspire others to start their own pursuit of a goal.* *I hope to inspire a community here that supports and holds each other accountable for goals they set.
