Hey, friends of [Feel Good](https://ecency.com/created/hive-190931)! I hope you're having a happy and productive start to the week. Registration for first-time students ended last week, and registration for regular students begins this week. It's the moment I've been waiting for since I have to teach classes for semesters 6 and 7, so I have to wait to see how many people register and then call them to a meeting to organize the class schedule. This means I had a little more free time before I started teaching, so I decided to take a look at the most remote corners of my faculty and share them with you for this [Phone Photography #82](https://ecency.com/hive-190931/@untilwelearn/phone-photography-contest-82) contest.

In other Phone Photography contests, I've shared some iconic spaces at the University City, a World Heritage Site, but this time I want to show you the spaces of my Faculty of Sciences. It's been a while since I've been here, and I had memories of when I was a student, spending afternoons studying for classes in the shade of those enormous chaguaramos, or royal palms. It's a very quiet place where you can study alone or with others. The lighting wasn't ideal because it was partly cloudy, but I didn't want to pass up the opportunity. I love taking photos of those enormous chaguaramos; they're so imposing that they've become an icon of the Faculty.

The reason this is one of my favorite places to be is because of the symbiosis that exists between the architectural aspects of the faculty, with its buildings and laboratories and nature; they seem to coexist in harmony without repelling each other. It reminds me of my time as a plant biology lab assistant when we would go out to these spaces to determine the taxonomy of different plant species. It was wonderful because you didn't have to buy expensive reagents, materials, or equipment; you just had to get a taxonomic key and go out to the faculty spaces to test your acquired biology knowledge.

Que tal amigos de [Feel Good](https://ecency.com/created/hive-190931)! Espero que estén teniendo un feliz y productivo inicio de semana, ya la semana pasada concluyó las inscripciones de los estudiantes que están ingresando por primera vez en la universidad y esta semana inicia las inscripciones de los estudiantes regulares, es el momento que estaba esperando pues me toca dictar clases a los semestres 6 y 7, asi que tengo que esperar a ver cuantos se terminan de inscribir y posteriormente convocarlos a una reunión para organizar el horario de clases. Eso significa que tenía un poco de tiempo libre más antes de comenzar a dar clases asi que decidí dar una vuelta por los espacios más recónditos de mi falcultad y compartirlo con ustedes para este concurso de [Phone Photography #82](https://ecency.com/hive-190931/@untilwelearn/phone-photography-contest-82).

En otros concursos de Phone Photography les había compartido algunos espacios icónicos de la Ciudad Universitaria que es patrimonio cultural de la humanidad, pero en esta ocasión quiero mostrarte los espacios de mi Facultad de Ciencias, hacía tiempo que no pasaba por aquí y tuve recuerdos de cuando era estudiante y pasaba las tardes estudiando para las clases a la sombra de esos enormes chaguaramos o palma real, es un lugar muy silencioso donde puedes estudiar solo o acompañado. La iluminación no fue la más adecuada ya que estaba parcialmente nublado pero no quise dejar pasar la oportunidad, me encanta tomarle fotos a esos enormes chaguaramos son tan imponentes que se han vuelto un ícono de la Facultad.

La razón de porque este es uno de mis lugares favoritos para estar es por la simbiosis que existe entre la parte arquitectónica de la facultad, con sus edificios y laboratorios con la naturaleza parecen convivir en armonía sin repelerse uno al otro. Me hace recordar mis tiempos de asistente de laboratorio de biología vegetal cuando salíamos a estos espacios para determinar la taxonomía de las distintas especies vegetales, era maravilloso porque no tenías que comprar reactivos, materiales o equipos costosos, simplemente una clave taxonómica y salir a los espacios de la facultad para poner a prueba tus conocimientos adquiridos en biología.
