What's up,  [Shadow Hunters](https://ecency.com/created/hive-179017) community! These last few days of November have been really complicated for my friends. I've been taking care of my mom, which has kept me from participating in this friendly contest. Today we went to the ophthalmologist for a checkup after her cataract surgery, and to our joy, everything went well. We bought her eye drops and some vitamins and started our journey home. It's a rather long trip, mainly because of the traffic which gets quite heavy at midday, but I took advantage of the traffic jam to hunt for some reflections on the long road ahead and just as we were arriving home in downtown Caracas I came across this imposing building whose surface is completely reflective and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to share it with you for this [Reflection Hunter Round 246](https://ecency.com/hive-179017/@olgavita/reflection-hunters-contest-round-246).

This building is located at the end of Avenida Urdaneta and marks the end of the city's historic center. The reflection you're seeing is of the eastern part of the city, which is made up of financial centers, government ministries, businesses, and, like this building, national banks. In fact, most of the banks share the same design: enormous and completely made of reflective tiles. So, if you manage to position yourself at a good angle, you can capture some very interesting reflections.

But this reflection I captured has a particular charm for me, because you can see the majestic Ávila mountain and a large cloud that seems to rise from its summit. It turned out great because there's a cloud in the photograph that appears to continue seamlessly with the reflection! I took more photos, and then you can see the other side of the building, which reflects the image coming from the south of Caracas. In short, we have a double reflection: from the east and the south of the city. Although, to be honest, I loved the reflection towards the south. That clear reflection of our great mountain, crowned with clouds, is a charming sight, and that's why I put this image first.

Estos últimos días de noviembre han sido realmente complicados para mi amigos, he estado cuidando de mi madre y eso me ha alejado de participar en este acogedor concurso, hoy fuimos al oftalmólogo para que evaluara la operación de la catarata y para nuestra alegría todo salió bien, compramos las gotas para sus ojos, algunas vitaminas y emprendimos nuestro regreso a casa. Es un viaje un tanto largo, principalmente por el tráfico que a medio día se vuelve bastante pesado, pero aproveché el embotellamiento para cazar algunos reflejos en el largo camino que nos esperaba y justo cuando ya estábamos llegando  a casa en el centro de Caracas me topé con este imponente edificio cuya superficie es completamente reflectante y no quise perder la oportunidad y compartirlo con ustedes para este [Reflection Hunter Round 246](https://ecency.com/hive-179017/@olgavita/reflection-hunters-contest-round-246).

Este edificio se encuentra ubicado al final de la Avenida Urdaneta y marca el fin del casco histórico de la ciudad, el reflejo que estas viendo es ya del este de la ciudad que la componen centros financieros, ministerios, comercios y como este edificio bancos nacionales. De hecho, la mayoría de los bancos se caracterizan por tener el mismo diseño, enormes y completamente hecho de baldosas reflectantes, entonces si tienes la oportunidad de ubicarte en un buen ángulo puedes capturar reflejos bastante interesantes.

Pero este reflejo que capturé tiene un encanto particular para mi, porque puedes ver el gran cerro Ávila y una gran nube que parece salir de su cumbre y quedó genial porque hay una nube en la fotografía pero que parece continuarse con el reflejo! Tomé más fotografías y entonces puedes ver la otra cara del edificio que fleja la imagen que viene del sur de Caracas. En resumen tenemos un reflejo doble: del este y del sur de la ciudad, aunque para ser honestos me encantó el reflejo hacia el sur, ese reflejo limpio de nuestra gran montaña encumbrado con nubes es una vista encantadora y esa fue la razón por la que puse de primero esta imagen.

Y este fue mi aporte al concurso de Shadow Hunters de esta semana amigos, no quería dejar de participar y tuve el privilegio de conseguirme con este reflejo para cerrar esta semana de noviembre. Ya solo nos queda 1 semana y poco más de noviembre, es increíble como pasa el tiempo y aun me quedan pendientes por completar en mi trabajo de la universidad, espero poder culminarlos en esta última semana y poder dedicarme con más tranquilidad a cazar y compartirles más y mejores reflejos.
