Steemit Usage Statistics: You Might Be Surprised at the Revealing Data!
One of the most profoundly interesting elements of the #Steemit social media network is that it is an international forum. You can meet new people and make new friends from all corners of this world.

Yet I've also wondered...just how *truly international* is Steemit?

It's a fair question to ask because despite our "decentralized credentials," if you will, most people #steem in English. Even non-English natives have adopted the use of the English language to communicate with others.

#### So again, just how international is Steemit?

The answer is, not as much as you might think:

The top 10 countries listed according to total Steemit usage are as follows:

That means that every other country combined equals 32.7%! Even crazier, with the U.S. at 29.5% usage, just one country equals the number of subs from rank #11 to whatever is the bottom!

#### The Future is Asian

If I'm not mistaken, the STEEM #altcoin is one of the few #crypto #investing assets that's not heavily dominated by an Asian country.

No matter.

I believe that Steemit's future is Asian -- which kinda sucks for the alt-right, but ya know :)

Number two on the Steemit subs list is South Korea, numbers five and six are India and Japan, respectively, and number nine is China. If we go by FIFA rules (which is BS, I know), we can include Australia at number ten.

The future of the #blockchain is definitely Asian, and that should bode very well for Steemit and the digital #market as a whole!
