My name is  Desire Ndukwe from Nigeria Aba Abia state,and i schooled in my city/state (Abia state).I schooled at ROYAL ROCK ACADEMY at no7 ojebs close off Obikabia Junction Aba Abia State. It is a really big school and we have other school buildings with the same name.

I completed pretty much completed my high school days there starting from junior secondary one (jss1) to my graduation day.

I graduated early this year around August.
And coming to the things i wish i had known in high l,there are alot of them such as focusing more on my studies,not playing so much,involving more in class activities and most importantly I wish knew how to control my spending habit back then.
Starting from my lower class days i always brought enough money to school and also came with some snacks aswell.Though having all that i still buy more snacks during the break time and that turned into a habit  which was really hard to control.i kept on living with the habit cause it wasn't causing any harm at that moment,as time went on the money i came with high school with increased from being 150 naira(0.19usd) or sometimes 200 naira (0.25) and it kept rising till the end of my high school days the money i brought rose up to as high as 2000 naira (2.49usd) and still i didn't notice any harm till i finished high school.
The negative effect it had on me started to surface few days after my graduation cause i have used up all my savings during my school years which lead to me being broke right now just because i spent to much.
Its a big effect  to me now because their are things now of greater importance to me which require money and their is no way to accomplish them  now.
Calculating all i have spent in high school has a rough estimate of nearly 500,000naira or more which is around 621.59 usd and above,thats alit of money to spend just on pleasures while in school.i so much wish i can change the past but i cant now so i just have to create an awareness kind of advice for others in high school.
