Creating a balance to take care of my mental and physical Health

*Our health is one of the most important things we need to prioritize but many people do not care until they fall sick or their system breaks down. I am guilty of this too.*

*When it comes to my mental health, I value this a lot and this is the reason why I often stay away from things that could affect me mentally.*

*I tend to avoid conflict with other people, my best mode of defense is avoiding or ignoring anyone giving me negative vibes to avoid any drama that could come out of it, you can rarely see me in a fight with others especially if it is something I can avoid and I am very selective when it comes to people I let into my life, all this is to make sure no one tamper with my mental peace and health.*

*When it comes to connecting with others to boost my mental health, I do more of this on the internet, I connect online and also watch movies and reels to stimulate myself because being too long in the midst of people physically drains me and not so good for my health in general.*


*I would admit I sleep less, I do not sleep for up to 8 hours out of the 24 hours and I know how sleep is essential to our mental health. Still, I am not permitted to, nor do I have enough time to spare for sleep, though recently I fell sick, I had to force myself to sleep as early as 10 p.m. but as my body is getting better, I am starting to keep late night again, not for any other thing but work!*

*As for my physical health, I would admit I slack off big time on that, I do not exercise my body at all. My daily routine is to wake up, take my bath, eat, work, go to school, and sleep so I did not think of exercise.*

*Last month, my coursemate hosted a football match I decided to join them and play as I see it as a way to exercise my body I was not surprised I got tired easily during the match but I also realized that I was able to get my breathe faster, I just need to do this more and I will be back to my old self.*

*I remember years ago, I could play football from morning till night without getting tired life happened, and the boy grew and took work as a priority.*

*I am hoping to find a gym center soon and start working out again but that is if their fee is not expensive.*
