One of the great things about keeping a daily journal like this is that it always puts a mirror in front of your face (if you are honest). Any kind of procrastination behavior won't last long this way. When wanting to be lazy, the mind comes up with all kinds of rationalisations to justify your emotional state. "I will continue once the next 7 day cycle hits, ..." Understanding this process does not fully fix the issue, but it does help cause a lot of cognitive dissonance which forces actions to follow.
