It has been a steady week, no new updates for the Witness server but we have continued to receive a steady stream of new Witness voters and now place at active rank 90, very close now to reaching 89.

Both myself and @derangedvisions have been continuing our various community projects, including the deranged photography contests, my slightly bizarre counting beans contest and of course we both spend a great deal of our time reading, upvoting and commenting on posts.

HF20 Will occur on the 25th September, this will be a mandatory update to the Witness server software which will enhance the blockchain and also pave the way for SMT's early 2019. In preparation we will be upgrading our Witness server at some point over the next week to double the SSD storage to accommodate the growing blockchain, and increase ram further to be prepared for more demanding applications. It will involve putting our Witness into maintenance for a short while but every effort will be taken to keep it to a minimum.

One of the many ways we are giving back to our Witness voters is by randomly selecting two each week to receive a Steem Basic Income Share - if you have not encountered @steembasicincome then you send 1 Steem to the account with a steemit account in the memo to register then to receive an upvote on their posts for life. 

We have now increased to 337 Witness voters, using the [random number generator](https://www.mathgoodies.com/calculators/random_no_custom) we will select the first account to receive an SBI share
