Each week is a new event, encouraging musicians to share songs with an international audience.* ***  This week's Hive Open Mic theme is "Immensity," chosen by our community's current spotlight artist: @zorajr. For this occasion, I'm offering a song called "Over and Under Us." This song speaks to the immensity of the Mother Earth's spirit, with her presence in all directions and above and below. To me, it is like an ancient elder's energy, embracing all of life, and holding space for us to grow and flourish. Lately, I've been learning how to use a live music looping station. This allows me to record multiple-tracks on the fly, looped and layered. This week's performance shows progress from my previous ones, as I'm getting more comfortable with the technology.
