This beautiful tree will be blooming again soon, and I am going to walk all the way across town to enjoy it, maybe even shoot it again.

One of my most favourite portrait shoots to date. It's not tack-sharp, but I'm more than ok with that. If anything, I often prefer it. This was very casual, just shooting for fun. No makeup artist or hairstylist or publication goals. I think the best shoots for me are always the laid-back ones. Maybe that is why I never thrived shooting professionally.

*Natural light. It was a lovely mostly overcast day.*

I convinced her to stand deep inside the tree's dangling branches. A slight breeze shooshed her hair just right. I took only as many shots as were needed (not many) then we went and had tea. A lovely shoot!
