Productivity is fundamental when it comes to achieving success but only a handful of us are truly putting in the work while the masses are distracted by the non-essential and trivial. That's also why a lot of people will never get the taste of genuine success through hard work and productivity.

Get Enough Sleep

I can't emphasise this enough 7 hours of sleep should be a minimum. Even if you think you don't need 7 hours of sleep you actually do. You might not feel the consequences straight away but you need to realize that 60% of adults experience sleeping difficulties at least a few nights a week. And 40% of adults experiences daytime sleepliness according to the National Sleep Foundation (NSF).

Wake up Earlier

As annoying as this might sound getting up earlier will add a major boost to your productivity. Sine you've got a lot more time on your hands you will be able to get a lot of things done while others are still sleeping their life and goals away. Quietude, less distractions and a nice sunrise make mornings an extremely productive day in general. Make sure you still get those 7 hours of sleep even if this means going to be earlier!

Try a Cold Shower

You might get goosebumps just by reading the words but it's actually extremely healthy for your body. If you're able to take cold showers on a regular basis your immune system, lymphatic circulatory and digestive systems will improve significantly and you will feel a lot more healthy and motivated instead of ill and depressed.

Schedule Your Day

Taking 10 minutes of your time before you head to bed to plan your day. This will make it a lot more likely that you will actually accomplish your goals. You would be surprised to see your productivity skyrocket after planning your day the night before. Another great tip is to divide bigger projects in smaller portions. Not only will you be less demotivated about the amount of work you have to do, but you will also progress a lot faster when applying this method.

Meditation

Getting into the right mindset is equally as important as a good workout routine or day schedule. This mindset can be achieved through meditation or by isolating yourself for 5 to 10 minutes. Getting into a positive mindset will allow you to fulfill your task with joy but it will also facilitate towards intense gratitude. And in the end we all want to be happy.

And now it's up to you.
