Tiny Little Friends : Beetles, Bugs and Moths!
<div class="text-justify">

I always love taking panoramic views during my walks. I admire seeing its vastness and grandeur on a frame. Not until, on one of my climbs, I saw these pink wildflowers on the path. I hurriedly took a photo of the lovely flowers and was surprised to see that there was a black insect busy making its way to get into the flower. Thanks to *Pollination* for this wonderful view!

I took a photo of it once again, but this time I zoomed in. It's a black beetle adorned with white polka dots! Astonished by the beauty I saw on the screen, I was on watch while it was busy doing its business. I am delighted with this discovery, I was holding my breath and my phone steadily to not disturbed the beetle! lol

Henceforth, I purposely walk into our backyard and school gardens to find sights and capture the wonder of nature in these tiny creatures. And that's what I exactly did today as I met these tiny little delights.

This morning, I met these orange friends on my cucumber plant. It seems they were having a meeting. They are the **pumpkin beetle**, I saw some solo Pumpkin beetles on some leaves, while these two come together. Whatever they're planning to do, they look great on that green leaf.

A not-so-friend I spot next to my orange friends. It is the **Common Green Bottle Fly**. These flies often land on table food in the countryside and this is the reason that I don't like them. But with those red eyes, blue body, and gray wings, I didn't know it looked majestic up close.

In addition to these delicate and captivating views of the insects, this afternoon at school, before going home I explored our school garden to meet new friends that I just ignored before. I just couldn't get enough of these intricate creatures up close!

The first one I saw is this insect whose color is the same as the wood. He might not be expecting that I would notice him but he was mistaken, his earth color stood out on his green background. He is the **Dock bug** of the family Coreidae (Coreus Marginatus). He looked calm and silent.

Another brown friend I met was the **Homona moth**. Its brown wings with those unique designs are covering its whole face. Do you think it's sleeping? Sssshhhh! Let's proceed to the next one then!

![IMG20230724152513.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/callmesmile/EoiUgoEMbsWZU6rQZVUDXowMxJLf3cPG6XncQauNhxUoeh4UUkaiyRjVuxd6eGVCMDS.jpg)

Look! A brown butterfly on the ground! It was windy the whole day because of the approaching typhoon this might be the reason why it was on the ground. She is the **Junonia Hedonia**, the chocolate pansy. This butterfly is common in the countryside. I wonder what happened to its wings.

![IMG_20230724_121453.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/callmesmile/EoEqvVtHZVd4PTae2AL6BS4b7ovZmYjjaQy7fCr67oEopjchpWFJgBSi25Bp4ou17hH.jpg)

A **Mexican Bean Beetle** hadn't escaped my keen eyes! This round tiny beetle was silently eating the eggplant leaf! I was fascinated by this tiny beauty of orange and black polka dots on its wings. It is smaller than a pea yet it looked powerful eating the helpless leaf.

These tiny creatures I saw on top of the leaves and flowers that often go unnoticed, spark a deep fascination and filled me with wonder and curiosity. I look forward to exploring this world of insects and practicing on Macro shoots *(hopefully I can purchase a good Cam in the future.)* And before I end here, I leave you with the last photo of the black ants that are busy gathering their food from the flower buds.

That's all for the tiny little friends I found delight in today. Which of the tiny creatures that you often see in your garden or in during your walks?

Thank you so much for reading. I hope you found delight in this post too. Hope you're all well and safe.
