# What's the deal?

Hey guys, so I recently got a couple of my friends involved in Steemit, and my girlfriend as well. Most of my friends were confirmed within about 20 minutes, however, my girlfriend's account has been awaiting approval for **almost 3 days now.**

We were just wondering what's going on, and if this sort of thing is normal? **She's really excited to get started Steeming, so any help will be greatly appreciated!**
