<h2>Quick Recap</h2>
 
This was a long season with a lot of changes to unpack.  Modern and Wild formats going live were the biggest change, but the addition of Merits to chests was another interesting change.  I was pleased, yet surprised, how the season turned out.  The biggest surprise to me was that I ended up playing a majority of my battles in the Wild league.  I thought the decreased CP per tier would sway me towards Wild, but my win percentage was way down and I ended up enjoying Wild more.  I need to max out my summoners for Silver before tackling Modern.

I am very pleased with my EOS pulls this time around.  Two packs, a gold foil Lion and a healthy dose of DEC.  I even scooped up enough potions to open the packs.  I even like the merits.  That's seven percent of the merits I need for another Gladius pack and I am quite enjoying the Gladius cards for brawls.  The airdrop came to an end this season, but I still managed to rack up over 40 SPS before the airdrop ended. 

The DEC rewards were three times what I took in last season and I spent zero DEC for the first time ever on rentals.  I didn't score any new Legendaries, but it was quite the profitable season!

I had one goal this season. 
 

❌ 1️⃣ Complete leveling up the Death Splinter
           

I failed but with a caveat.  I've actually decided to go full force and have started working towards upgrading Thaddius to level four.  I am five more away from having that complete and then I will make the jump back to upgrading the complete splinter.

<h2>Looking to Next Season</h2>

1️⃣  Complete leveling up the Death splinter

I have a solid plan to make my Death splinter maxed out for Silver fighting.  This is going to help me in Brawls and increasing my daily win percentage.

It isn't often that I go up against Grum that manages to have Bloodlust activated against me and I still manage the win 😀  I thought I was in trouble this battle right up until the end.

<h2>Wrap Up</h2>
      
I was a bit disappointed that Modern format was such a slog, but the higher competition is a good kick to get my cards leveled up.  I have the right cards for Modern, I just wasn't maxed out for Silver like many of my opponents.  I'll get there.  A few more packs in my dailies and EOS chests won't hurt this process 😀
