# It was not the greatest day on paper.
### My dad was in town ,so I thought it would be cool to show him paragliding in person. So we grabbed a couple sports chairs and headed out to Blossom.

> I wanted to show my dad that I could fly well. Turns out I launched into a dead spot, and sank out to the bottom. It was just one of those days. 

### I side hill landed on Amen ridge and hiked up a little bit. After relaunching I found a thermal that took me from 750ft up to 1800 ft. It was pretty amazing.
