A while ago, I started playing Soulkeep, and when I first started and I felt it was different from other tower defense games. It features a high level of tactics and each tower has its own good character and specific way of using it. One of the towers that really got me was Charnel Pit.

This tower isn't just regular tower as it's also one of the fastest towers I've seen in the game.

The good of this tower is that it's extremely fast at striking and its speed keeps it ahead of any approaching fiend. Its range is also very respectable, reaching 230, allowing it to hit enemies from a good distance without having to wait for them to get too close. It also deals Physical Damage up to 35, which is its true strength, especially against monsters whose defenses are weak against this type of attack.

But its true strength is revealed when it's developed. When I upgraded it, I felt a tremendous difference. Damage has been increased by 100%, meaning instead of hitting 35, it now hits around 70. This has allowed me to fend off massive waves of enemies without resorting to other towers in the same area.

I tested a comparison between the standard and upgraded versions, and the difference is clear. The standard version is nice and fast, but the upgraded version literally breaks the bank. Especially in high-pressure levels, the upgraded version eliminates enemies faster and reduces the number of monsters that escape and get past.

If someone is playing Soulkeep and still doesn't know which tower to upgrade first, I highly recommend the Charnel Pit, especially if you like a fast and deadly style. The upgraded version provides consistent and powerful performance, and you can rely on it in most levels without feeling like you need to reinforce it too much.
