1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, 1,597 ...

The elements of this sequence are called Fibonacci numbers. The name of Fibonacci succession is owed to Leonardo de Pisa, an Italian mathematician of the thirteenth century also known as Fibonacci.

This succession would not have anything of particular but outside because aparace repeatedly in the nature and, in addition, has numerous applications in sciences of the computation, mathematics and theory of games, among others.
