The political season has started in the Netherlands. The parties trying to form a governement are still negotiating after months of talking, changing parties and talking again.
Meanwhile the time is coming for the next elections. This time the citizens can vote for the city councils.
I live in the city of Almere, so that's the city I have been asked to play a role in the upcoming elections.

The population grew, so there will be new councilmembers, and the elections will shake things up a little, I think, so I said "yes" when they asked me if I could play a role.
Which role it is going to be exactly is still to be kept silent. As a matter of fact, I don't even know myself, lol. It can be that I will be asked to count votes, doing some promotional work, do some online work to inform people who got questions, I don't know exactly.

In Almere the biggest party is the PVV, the freedom party run by Geert Wilders. But they're not the ones being the council leaders. That's a coalition between PvdA, Leefbaar Almere, D66, VVD and CDA. It took 5 parties to stop the PVV from ruling the city. People are fed up with that and I understand. It's not the first time the wish of voters is totally ignored in Holland. It was the second time in a row in Almere, so a low attendance of voters is expected, and I guess I will be asked to persuade people to go and vote.

Tomorrow I will meet some members of the council and hear what their thoughts and plans are. I will also meet a politician from the Dutch parliament, so I have been told. Don't know who or which party, but I'm looking forward to it.
The cityhall and the partychambers are under construction, so I'll be one of the first to see how it's going to look after they are done. It looked like this;

Because I don't know anything about what is expected, what I'm going to do and when I'm going to do it, my programme will stop.
Sure I will be writing stories, continue the last part of woman in chains and post some poetry, but not as schemed as I did. I don't think I got time for that at least until May 2018, the day of the elections.

Sunday the final chapter of the first story of dreamland "woman in chains" will be published, and after that I will write as soon as I have the time to write and publish.
