During my Christmas holidays, apart from celebrating the holidays with family and friends, I have dedicated myself to visiting places where I spent very good times in my adolescence and childhood.


One of those places I visited was the town of Tapia de Casariego (Asturias-Spain), which is the town where the secondary school where I studied several years ago is located.

After a first visit to the school, I went for a walk to one of the beaches of Tapia de Casariego, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Asturias and one of the most famous beaches for surfers.

To get to the beach I went along a beautiful promenade along the cliffs of Tapia de Casariego and in the middle of that walk I came across a striking wooden construction that I did not know and that is a pool of sea water.

As you can see from the top of the walk there is a panoramic view of the entire seawater pool and you can see that the rocks surrounding the pool are reflected.

In order to see if I could get better reflections, I decided to go down the wooden walkway to the level of the pool and the result was a better reflection where you could see completely the main rock that protects the pool, the side wall and also a staircase that is on the left side of the pool.

Happy with these reflections, I decided to continue my visit to the village, but the rest I hope to tell you more soon than later in a travel post.
