Opening Up, One Word at a Time.
<div class="text-justify>

Hello, everyone!
‎
‎I’m 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 — yes, I know it sounds like a boy’s name! My name has always been a bit of a conversation starter because people often assume it’s for boys. Anyway, I’m a college student who loves to cram things (guilty!) but also happens to be a perfectionist and a little afraid of failure.

‎
‎I’d describe myself as someone who loves
‎genuine conversations because they help me understand different perspectives. I enjoy random adventures since they somehow heal my inner child, and I really love to laugh — it makes me forget about all the things I need to worry about. I’ve always believed that life’s too short not to laugh whenever you get the chance.
‎
‎Let me tell you more about myself. I’m passionate about community service — no lies. Ever since elementary, I’ve always dreamed of joining volunteer work, but I used to be too shy to interact with people. Because of that, I never had the chance. Now that I’m in college, I’ve finally been given the opportunity to achieve that little dream. I can now initiate community service projects and find my own ways to help others, even in the smallest ways. Volunteering may be tiring, but seeing the smiles of the people you help makes all the effort worth it. It’s satisfying to know you’ve made someone’s day a little brighter.

‎I also love writing. I used to be a good writer back in high school, but that passion was pushed aside during the pandemic when I got caught up in social media — just trying to find friends and someone to talk to. Through this platform, I want to reignite the fire for writing that I once had. Writing allows me to express my feelings and be my most vulnerable self.
‎
‎Aside from writing, I also love listening to music because it helps me process my emotions. For example, when I feel tired at night and just need a good cry, I play a sad song and let myself drift to sleep. Music makes me feel at ease. <br>

‎I wanted a platform where I can truly be myself — a space to express my thoughts and feelings since I’m not the type to open up easily in person. I want to share my stories, ease the burdens I sometimes carry through writing, learn from others here, and meet people who have found their voice on this platform. Most of all, I want to rekindle my passion for writing, and I believe Hive can help me do that.

‎At first, I didn’t know what Hive was. I only learned about it through a friend. I even tried searching for it in the Play Store but nothing came up!  So she explained what Hive is and told me it’s a great platform for people who love to write just for the sake of writing.
‎
‎Lastly, I’d like to thank Miss @ayane-chan for allowing me to be part of this platform. I know she’s a busy person, but she still takes the time to respond to my messages about joining Hive. Thank you so much for guiding me and for your patience as I start this new journey. I may be new here, but I have many stories to tell — whether they’re inspiring, goofy, random, or reflective. Whether it’s about my journey, life lessons, or just thoughts that might make sense to someone out there, I’m excited to share them all here.
