Employers taking advantage of their desperate employees seems to be commonplace. People are so desperate to earn a living that they'll work crap jobs for low pay and let all their legal rights slip away under the table. But this isn't a systemic problem - it is a human issue. It is about how each of us has been participating in the creation and continuation of the world system (economy, governments, politics, media, etc) as it is. It is about WHO WE ARE, what we think, how we see each other, what we say, what we do.
