Our soul is awakened only after any major accident. We burn Ravana, the symbol of evil every year, on the occasion of Dussehra festival, but never try to kill the devil hidden inside us.  If we did this, we would not have needed to burn the innocent Ravana every year. Navratri is a 9 day major festival of Hindus, on which we look serious towards women's safety.  After this our soul dies and we start walking it again on the path of hell.  Festivals are definitely for celebration, but the message behind the festival should also be implemented in life.  Celebrating the festival does not fulfill our responsibilities, it also needs to be implemented in real life.  Till we do not do this, no need to celebrate so many festivals, not burn Ravana every year, Our purpose is not going to be fulfilled by thinking in negative way..  Till we do not eliminate the evil inside us, we can not expect it from others.God has made us the most intelligent creature, yet we use our intelligence in the wrong direction due to which we are living a life worse than the nocturnal people.
