What is Maker/Taker Trading on the exchange.
Maker/Taker Works like this. If you are making the market by buying bitcoin using USD and setting a price and waiting, it is a Maker position. Example: You have moved 800.00 USD to the exchange. And you want to buy some bitcoin. Bitcoin is going for 608.80 you can buy at 608.80 Which is a Taker and you will be charged a small fee. But if you choose to purchase at 605.00 Then you are setting a downward trend and you are a Market Maker so when your position is sold you have purchases your 1 BTC for 605.00 instead of the current 608.80 and without any fees. So now you have your bitcoin you bought at 605.00 You then open another Market Maker position @ 615.00 to sell. As bitcoin's price fluctuated during the day generally 10 dollars in either direction. You then sell your bitcoin for 615.00 without any fees. So you just made yourself 10.00 By just opening a Market Maker position. This is very simple trading without using any leverage. No Fees and no possible loss as long as you always Buy Low and Sell High. If you are new to trading this is the easy safe way to make money moving money. Coinbase has multiple currencies They support Etherium, Bitcoin, Litecoin USD, Euro and GBP Euro and GBP are only for european customers.
