Hello there, 

From this review I'm trying to give you an overall idea about the whitepaper document of the project Eloncity. I (Channa Jayawickrama) have released one article before this one. If you haven't referred it yet I welcome you all to read it first as it will help you to get a better understanding and will help to follow the future articles too.

Before start this week topic I will give brief the team of project Eloncity as appreciation.

Now Let’s move to this week topic.

As I told earlier, this week topic is about the whitepaper of this project. If you focus about this paper, you can identify that this whitepaper is very unique one. All the project details are included in this whitepaper in very eye catching and sweet manner. But actually if we want to understand this whitepaper 100%, we need to have little understanding or knowledge of how power systems behave and basic knowledge in the field of Electrical Engineering.

Now, I will give my review, specially about these two chapters in the whitepaper.

1.	Technology - Eloncity Decentralized Energy Architecture
2.	Eloncity Technology Building Block Integration

Let’s brief about first topic now.

1.	Technology - Eloncity Decentralized Energy Architecture

In the figure below you can see Eloncity Decentralized Energy Architecture (EDEA) combining decentralized model and crypto-economic tools.

We all know that normally we are getting our Electricity through centralized AC power systems, simply that means power grids. Most of the countries in the world have a national power grid. This grid is fed by a lot of conventional and renewable power generation plants and consumed by customers of different capacities through a distribution network. So the project Eloncity concept or "Eloncity model" which is discussed in this whitepaper was totally designed to give a best power system avoiding all the issues and disadvantages of current centralized power systems. To do this, they are introducing " Eloncity Decentralized Energy Architecture" concept. The Eloncity team, describes this Eloncity model and all its technical features in this chapter of the Eloncity whitepaper.

2.	Eloncity Technology Building Block Integration

They are discussed this Topic, in several subtopics.

•	Operation of ECTP
•	Management of Power flow in power system
•	Hierarchical chain of power systems
•	Optimising local power flows - Distribution level of the Grid
•	Dubus and balancing power flow in the local stage
•	EV charging
•	Controlling Demand and Supply
•	BLSP - Operations of baseload service provider
•	Internal connections with centralized grid

Then , the document brings out the most important part of the project, " The cryptoeconomic framwork " of the project. And the document gives details about the ECTP ( Eloncity token protocol ) and Eloncity token under 3 major topics.

1.	ECT mining
2.	ECT mining - based on half life
3.	Future of ECT token

I do hope, now you can understand the fact I mentioned in the beginning of this review. It’s a bitter truth that if you want to understand the "Eloncity Model " you need to have a good knowledge in the field of Electrical Engineering.

As a conclusion of this review, I can say speaking the whitepaper of the project Eloncity is little bit complex. That means if some person who are not in the power industry going to understand this project whitepaper, definitely he must spend more time to do it.

But I think it's really worthy to read this and understand these project features and concepts if you hope to invest in this project. This is a very good project with a reliable and promising features.
