Thanks be to God almighty may his peace abide with us all Amen.

Firstly I want to appreciate God for another opportunity to be in his presence and also another opportunity to listen to the doctrine of Christ through brother Eli, it was indeed a wonderful moment, I learnt that we should not make a vow if we know we cannot redeem it, it is better we don’t promise that which we cannot fulfill because it is a sin.

1ST COR 10:21 I learned that we should not partake of the things of the devil and also partake of the things of God, it is evil and a big sin to serve both devil and God, our God is a jealous God so he would not want to see us partaking of the devils table and also partake his table, in other words we must be in one place either in God’s table or the devil, the Bible said, ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of the devil, ye cannot be a partaker of the Lords table and of the devils, we should not be in Christ also in devil so let’s partake and drink of the cup of the Lord say no to the cup of the devils.

NUMBERS 30:2 herei understand that we should not make a vow that we cannot redeem, if we make a vow to the Lord we must fulfill it because God is not human we should fail in our promises, we should always redeem our vows when we make one, the Bible said, if a man vow a vow unto the Lord or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth. When we make a vow we should do according what we say, when we vow a vow to God let it be how we made it not breaking it because vows are personal decisions we are not forced to vow so when we vow we should fulfill it according to the vow we vow to God.

ECCLESIASTES 5:4;5 here I learned that it is better we don’t make a vow than making a vow without redeeming it, if we can’t redeem our vows the Bible said we should now vow at all, the Bible said, better is it that thou shouldn’t vow than thou should vow and pay not, so is better you don’t make a vow instead you will do so and not pay it, let’s not make a vow that will stand against us tomorrow but let’s do according to our riches and strength so we can fulfill the mind of God, making vow is good when we fulfill it.

2ND COR 9:7 I learned that we should give according to the purpose of our hearts, we should give according to how our hearts lead us and also we should not give grudgingly we should do it from our hearts when we giving either to the Lord or our fellow men, here the Bible said, Every man according as he purposed in his heart so let him give, not grudgingly or necessity for God loves a cheerful giver. We must give from our hearts not from the lips, we should take the things of God very seriously, giving us good and so we should do it with all our hearts not grudgingly according to the word of God. 

ISAIAH 1:19 I learned that we should be obedient to the word of God so that we would eat the good of the land. We must obey the word of God to have access to the things created, we must obey and be willing to serve God in truth and in spirit, the Bible said, if ye are willing and obedient ye shall eat the good of the land. So we must be willing and obedient to the word of God so that we shall eat the good of the land according to the word of God.

HEBREWS 13:15 I learned that we should offer sacrifice of praises unto the Lord continually because that is the only thing we can offer to God because does not eat nor drink but our praises to him makes him happy and he’s pleased when we offer a sacrifice of praise. The Bible said, By him therefore let us offer sacrifice of praises continually, that is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Let’s sing unto the Lord as it it the fruit of our lips so let’s offer it to God almighty and so he will be pleased with us, offering sacrifice of praise to God is very important as a child of God  or as Christian.
