Lets go back to the days of old. The song writer wrote, ***"Give me the old time religion, give me the old time religion, give me the old time religion, it's good enough for me; it was good for Paul and Silas, it's good enough for me"***. In the days of old, people learnt to wait on the Lord; not today that we have put God in our handbags.

The first thing that people see when most Christians come to the House of God is their handbags, shoes or their clothes. They hardly see Jesus in them. When people see you, what do they see in you? Is it your clothes or Jesus?

Anyone that values this world more than heaven is not qualified for heaven. All those things you are running after and all those things that don't allow you to have time for God, one day, you will leave them behind.

Many people want to go to heaven but they don't want to die. What you should be afraid of is the works of your hand. Someone said a while ago that he wants to take his church on excursion to the mortuary. Cos in the mortuary, the rich man, who ordinarily would not be given a seat near the poor man in church will be put side by side with the poor man. That face that you would have done plastic surgery on in other to look handsome and beautiful will be on the floor in the mortuary. That mouth that you have refused to say hallelujah in church will open wide in the mortuary. The chest that you went to hospital to enlarge, the mortuary attendance will use press it like car horn. That is when you will realize the vanity of life. 

King Solomon, with all he had, declared I. Ecclesiastics 1:2, vanity of vanities,....... VA it of vanity all is vanity.
