Lights, Camera, Action! Breaking Down the Small Effect...

Hi Steemians!

Motivational speeches or awakening revelations are not alien or unbeknownst to us. From time to time, in our lifetime, we are struck with instances that stir our inner desires to go after the things that we have always wanted. Have you ever come across a piece of information that you thought could drastically change your life and you really wanted to put it to use, but didn’t take any steps towards it and it got lost in a small corner of your mind?

A couple of days ago, we talked about the ‘5 Second Rule’ and how it can change your approach in finally doing the things that you always postpone. For a lot of people, that rule might have been the pissing piece in the puzzle of their life, but a lot of them have not taken any steps to actually practice it. I know what you are thinking right now; that this has happened to you time and time again, but have you ever wondered why?

The main issue here is that our deceptive mind is yet again at work here to hinder our movement and prevent us from arriving at the place we want to be. When you learn something new, or something that inspires you, your mind accepts the legitimacy of this new profound idea, but tricks you into putting it in a corner of your mind, like a wrapped gift, to be opened later and at a decent time. Trust me, that time never arrives. It is an illusion, much like the many tricks of the deceptive mind that are always seeking comfort in the expense of losing your dreams and your desires on a large scale.

The solution to this problematic tendency is performing small tasks in regards to these ideas. What we know as Micro Actions is the answer that will vanquish this mist of illusion to help you start doing the things that you have to do in order to get to the places that you want to be. The key is doing something. To stop postponing what you can do right away, or at least take a small step towards doing it. With this approach, you will tell your mind that you have had enough of ‘thinking’ and now you actually want to ‘do’ something with these thoughts.

The expression ‘Micro Actions’ might seem like a strange or new concept to you, but in reality, it is the same philosophy as taking small steps to achieve greater goals. Remember this; to arrive even at the greatest and highest of places where dreams come true, you need to take small steps and walk in dark paths of struggle and hardship.

By drowning ourselves in the fantasy of the place of our desire, we forsake what we have to do to arrive there. Remember; it is not the destination that we need to envision, but the step that is in front of us right now.

Remember Community: Please, if you commented on a new post I did, please always go back to the previous one because if someone in the community commented lastly because of time zone differences it will be without your upvote and that would not be fair.

My goal is to see you all with 80 upvotes and for this we need to bring more people with positive Mindset to this blog and this you can do by inviting people who follow you on your blogs and making a subtract of all posts.

You all know the goal we can reach.

The question is: Who is with me in this endeavor?

A BIG HUG!!!
