The subject is on "The advantages of decentralized platforms".

Wow, being on steemit for awhile now, whaleshares and some blockchain related runs, definitely there are some advantages and disadvantages but then for the purposes of the contest,I would focus on the advantages.

* THESE PLATFORMS ARE ADDITIONAL SOURCES OF INCOME: You would agree with me that 80% of those involved in these platforms came initially for the purposes of making some cash,at a point they found other reasons to hold on but then you wouldn't still neglect the first reason.

Through blogging on this platforms one is able to get some returns mostly on a weekly basis but then the more consistent you are,the higher your returns.

I even know some persons that are on these platforms as a kind of full time jobs so it has really helped provide a means of earning especially for the unemployed labour and added an extra source of income for those who may not really have well payed jobs.



* THESE PLATFORMS ARE MEDIUMS OF INTERACTION: Due to the fact that these platforms are made up of people from different countries,works of life,age brackets etc,it's provides that platform to learn from other people,get to know more about other people's cultures and happenings in their countries. Through the discord voice channels you can connect with as many as would want,not just reading their articles but then getting to hear how they feel.


* THESE PLATFORMS HAVE BINDED SOULS TOGETHER: People get build friendships on the platform, ofcourse there are lots of awesome peeps here on the platform,so it's natural for people to get along,through meet-ups, conferences etc For example just like the just concluded "Steemit in Nigeria" early this month,the platform provided an avenue for steemians to gather together,not just to learn but to get to know each other better.

Friends for life were actually made,in which you can never tell where you would meet them again or need their help,I have also seen people decide to visit each other just because they got interacting on the platform and they started getting alone with each other so very much.


* THESE PLATFORMS ADDS GREATLY TO ONE'S KNOWLEDGE: 

Daily we read up other people's articles and it also adds to our knowledge,helping us to broaden to other aspects of blockchain we never knew existed.
So I will say the decentralized platforms are also building up thereby helping in self actualization.
