Taking care of our parents is a responsibility, not an obligation! 💖. Taking care of our elderly parents isn’t really a debt or an obligation. It’s a natural and normal duty of children to do,  just like it's the parent's natural responsibility to care for, feed, and educate their children while they’re unable to support themselves, it's also the children’s duty to care for their parents when they grow old and can no longer work.

Of a true, parents have the responsibility to care for their young children. In that same way, every child has the responsibility to care for and nurture their parents when they’re old, weak, and no longer able to work or care for themselves. This shouldn’t even be an issue.

As we grow up and dream for our future, we should include in our plans, along with our siblings, how we will care for our parents as they age. How we treat our parents reflects how we want our own children to treat us in the future.

Truth be told, when we get old, we also want our children to be by our side, to be with them until our last moments, I would advise for parents to show their children that caring for and nurturing their parents is a natural and normal thing. So that if we dream of being cared for by our own children, we should show them that it’s normal and natural to take care of our parents.
