Sometimes the sun is shining, the wind is blowing just right, and just being in the right place at the right time pays off.. this little win was about the quickest, easiest trade for me since.. well, since ever, that I can remember..

I said to myself, I'd be happy to make 1% today. I was thinking about yesterday's lost trade, and remembered how it was up to 1% gain, but since I had my target set at about 3%, it didn't close at that time.

I wasn't planning to trade today. There is some big news events hitting tomorrow and thursday. Powell speaks, and when he talks the market always reacts, usually drastically. Still, I wanted to use all my day trades (3 per week) and I still have 2, (cuz I skipped trading last friday), so I thought why not.. I'll risk 1% ($10) to try and make 1% account gain. 

I lazily looked at the charts.. Here's what I saw..

I was ready to see much of nothing.. only a ranging price with no clear trends at all, but the 5m showed some good moves going on..

I decided to be a little greedy and go for 2% gain (on my small account, only $20). I did stick to a 1X stop ($50 in this case), but I don't think this trade ever got even .01 negative! :P

I did put in my closing order, but the trade hit my target and closed.. all before I could even take a snap of it. (good problem to have)

I am liking this very fast,  just be in the market (hopefully in the right direction).. and the natural movement of price should easily hit the target, even if the target is in the WRONG direction.. unless, of course, u are just totally wrong and unlucky. (ie. some shark comes in and ruins it)

I'm gonna keep my eye on my trades (I do that anyway) and see how many times I could've won just 1-2%, even when I lost a trade. So far, that only happed a few times. I think, probably it doesn't matter all that much between 1-3%, UNLESS one is trading a HUGE account. (like $50k+)
