APRIL FOOLS DAY with it REPERCUSSIONS

I have seen and heard about how many people in my society prank their friends and even their loved ones, some go extra miles to do so which sometimes result to emotional issues, damages and mental health issues. I had ways frown at this kind of things because health wise we don't know the current condition of some people so if such a emotional news is been thrown at them who knows what could be outcome.

Anxiety, depression or suspense as the case maube, all these can be caused from the words said from the mouth of someone pranking another.

Seeing all the pranking stuff and always knowing that first of April I had to be very cautious of myself and what anybody say to me, the funny thing about this particular day is that you tend "not to know what is actually true and what is a lie" I seriously don't like such a thing, not in this kind of current situation the country is, everybody is so caution and mindfulness is paramount.

Just like yesterday this April fools day caused my little sister a big and serious lesson she ought not to forget I'm sure. It all happened that on first day of April when she was sent out on an errand she came back immediately acting all sober and sad saying was attacked by some street hoodlums who collected the goods she was carrying on errands
Goods worth over 12 thousand naira as at that time when naira value was strong.

With shock my mom quickly held her hand dragging her to immediately go and show her the place and who attacked her, surprisingly on their way she switched mood and said it was a lie that she wants to do "April fools day" ahhh ogini kwa? She never thought of doing such thing on a different situation other than something that involves money? Though she was still young but African mothers don't tolerate nonsense no matter what, a re echoing sound of slap like thunder stroked her on the street there.

You just don't joke with everything, because you see your friends doing same thing you decided to do. You'll know that kind of slap that will keep you mute for few minute wondering place you were at that particular time, we call that "factory reset slap" a disciplinary slap. From that day we the other siblings stopped that April fools day of a thing because we knew the kind of parent we have, a no nonsense type.

When I come across viral post from content creators on Facebook where do go extra miles, even at a point of risking their lives just for content and monetization gains I just shook my head and scroll away. Maybe if one of them lose his or her life it would be a warning to others.

The rate of trust has declined because of the unnecessary prank, not able to distinguish what is true and what is a lie. This event ought to be a funny kind of prank but it has been taken into a much worse level and if not looked into properly it will caused serious casualty. I'm sure it might have.
